How to remove close buttons in tabs in Firefox 2

Posted in Firefox 2 at 6:36 am by tojan3

Do you find it annoying that every single tab has it’s own close button (instead of one in the right)?

You can change it within seconds. There are just 3 steps:

1. Type in the address bar: about:config

2. Find the line browser.tabs.closeButtons (you can just copy and paste this value into the filter)

3. Change the value from 1 to 0

That’s all. Easy, isn’t it?
